At the end of the session, you can expect to have a better understanding of the physical root causes of your pain as well as a clear picture of what follow-up physical therapy treatment will look like as well as some advice to get your going on your path to healing.

Following your initial evaluation, these 1:1 treatment sessions are designed to approach you as a whole person, and not just the injury you came in with. 1:1 treatments are individualized for each client. Sessions often include manual therapies, like soft tissue and joint mobilization, and exercise prescription for strength and mobility. Education is also a cornerstone of our care, as we believe it empowers clients to get well, and learn how to stay well. Education is precisely tailored to your goals, and can include exercise plans for home, as well lifestyle, environmental, and nutrition choices as they correlate with your specific diagnosis.

This is facilitation for optimal healing and performance. The package includes six 1-hour post-evaluation treatment sessions. We’ll dig deep into a sustained approach to support your wellness.

Comprehensive 90-minute meeting to accomplish a detailed review of your medical history, lifestyle, and goals. Includes a functional movement, mobility, and strength assessment to tailor your home or gym workout to your specific needs. We’ll review each recommended exercise together, to ensure every aspect of your workout is optimized for ideal benefits.

Who is Physical Therapy and Physical Rehab For?

We were able to get her in quickly, screen her movement and do an examination that showed us she was an ideal candidate for a specific and effective manual therapy technique to her lower back. We did that technique, called a lumbar manipulation on the first visit, educated her on her injury in a way that helped her understand it, and put her mind at ease, and gave specific home exercise recommendations. She rated herself as “quite a bit better” within 24 hours of the first session, and worked together for 3 more sessions, guiding her to full recovery, and partnering with her to implement a regular mobility and strength routine into her lifestyle as a busy mom. She had always felt she did not have the time to give her body what it needed and was delighted to learn that we could work with her to find ways to fit it into her life.

A high-level executive working excessively long days at his home office developed neck and upper back pain over the course of several months. It had gotten to a point where it was really impacted his mood and productivity. We created a program for him that included 4 weekly sessions of manual therapy including soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilization, and manual stretches to help him shift his posture into a more comfortable position. We also partnered with him to help him improve his office workstation set up to better serve his needs, and implemented a home exercise program and lifestyle changes that allowed him to keep his newfound mobility and strength.

In this case, a competitive softball player with patella-femoral pain (a form of knee pain). She had tried conventional physical therapy 2 times per week for 6 weeks but was still experiencing her pain. She said that she didn’t really know why she was doing her exercises and that many of them seemed to make her knee pain worse, and others felt way too easy. After a functional movement assessment and thorough examination, we worked back to her root cause of knee pain, which linked to an ankle restriction on that same side. We provided manual therapy and exercise to help resolve the underlying issue, and progressive, functional exercises to help her tolerate the motions and positions needed at her level of softball including, sprinting, quick direction changes, and squatting. After 5 sessions, she was back to her off-season softball conditioning, pain-free and feeling stronger than ever!

Effective physical therapy is not just about providing support for one moment in time. Full Circle Wellness empowers you to create sustainable lifestyle changes that will ripple outward with positive effects on other aspects of your life and performance.

Through a systematic, evidence-based process of managing injuries and boosting overall health and wellness, we optimize your injury healing, while creating sustainable lifestyle changes that will have a positive ripple effect into other aspects of your life and performance.

You’ve Got Questions, We’ve Got the Answers

We do not accept insurance. This intentional model allows us to spend the time that our clients are seeking in that 1:1 environment for the entire hour. We believe that having the freedom to give our clients exactly what they need is the best way to serve them, without adjusting to insurance limitations.

We can accept cash, checks, Venmo, and all major credit cards (3% processing fee added for CC payment).

The answer to this will be based on your unique needs, and these recommendations are discussed at the end of your initial evaluation. That being said, it is our experience and that of our clients, that they often save both time and money in our care. This is because having the opportunity to work face to face for 1 full hour gives us the space to cover a good deal of ground in each session. It could take 3 more sessions to get that same face time with a physical therapist working in a conventional setting. Many times, we are able to make an efficient positive change only seeing our clients once per week, and even less, as they progress and have more independent programs at home. In a conventional setting, clients are usually seen 2-3 times per week. We can allow our clients this independence at home, through open lines of communication between sessions as well as clear, detailed home exercise documents. This gives them their driving time, and the time they would have spent in extra sessions per week back, to choose how they want to spend it, and saves them the money they would have been spending on copayments, gas, etc. in that conventional model of care.

We tailor each client’s plan of care based on their needs and goals. The number of visits we recommend for each client is really specific to them, and we do not have a requirement for the number of sessions. We believe that you will be the one to choose to continue working with us, based on your positive experience and the value you gain in understanding how to heal your body.

We gather all of the information we need to partner with you to create a unique plan of care. At the end of your first session, we will explain what we see going on in your body, and start with the first steps of healing by making some key recommendations to send you away to work on before our next session. At each session, we will add to, progress, and modify your home program, based on your needs and goals.

A home program includes the things we teach you to implement at home including exercises, lifestyle upgrades, and healthy add-ins, continue the healing process outside of our office. This empowers our clients to understand their body’s needs and develop this skill for lifelong benefit. Each home program is individualized to that client, and often includes links to videos they can access as needed of Jess demonstrating and explaining the exercises she has recommended for them. When there are questions between sessions, she available via text or email to help, and keep you on the up and up!

We are not only looking at your injured tissues, but we assess we screen the muscles and joints above below and around this injury and how they may be affecting your pain and recovery process. We will then integrate physical therapy treatments for these areas, as well as your injury site to optimize your recovery, and truly get to the root cause of your injury. We also recognize that the lifestyle and environment we live and move in can be a direct reflection of your musculoskeletal health, and therefore help you to understand and manage the internal and external factors that can also contribute to optimal healing, recovery, and prevention of future injury.

An investment in our elevated, 1:1 focused care will help you have a deeper understanding of the why behind your injury, and how to fix it. In these 60 minute sessions, you will have the time to ask questions and get clarity on what you can do to help your body, and how to prioritize these things to fit your unique lifestyle. We will design an exercise, manual therapy, and lifestyle plan specific to your needs and help ensure that you are comfortable and committed to the program by working together to create the program for you. Some people have very busy lives, and we hear you. Our approach is always to meet you there in that busy world and find the best way for you to integrate healing into your day in the best way that serves you.

The first step is to book your initial complimentary Discovery Call. From there, we can set up your first session, which is called an initial physical therapy evaluation, where we assess all of the things above, gathering all of the information we need to partner with you to create a unique plan of care. At the end of your first session, we will explain what we see going on in your body, and start with the first steps of healing by making some key recommendations to send you away to work on before our next session. We will also make a recommendation for the frequency and duration of visits we believe you will need, although this is an evolving process that may become longer or shorter, as we progress on your path to recovery. We always maintain open lines of communication between the therapist and client.
